what to celebrate

When a school year ends, celebration is a great way of looking back.

What happened this year? Some celebrate a year-long hard work. Some celebrate testing-scores and academic achievement. Some celebrate graduation and being promoted. Some celebrate being recognized for outstanding behaviors. Some celebrate the individual growth and growth for the classroom. Some celebrate friendships and connections...

What if students get to celebrate the projects they chose to do, the skills they learned from doing it, and the supports they both gave and received from their peers? Would this help schools learn more about our children?

These are the reasons that we sent our children to school, and they are well worth celebrating.
