Power means different things to different people. Some believe earning money is power. The more they make, the more powerful they are. Some think having control over everyone and everything is power. The more control they have, the better. Some believe helping others with what they need is power. Nothing is more powerful than helping people change their minds and learn something new.
There are many differences between power and empowerment. One is this: if you are the only person happy about your actions, it's likely about gaining power for yourself. And when someone else is over the moon because of your existence and actions, your power comes from empowering others to improve.
It's easy to be confused between the two. But choosing with clarity makes a difference.
