imposter syndrome and imposter

Fake it till you become it is Amy Cuddy's well-known Ted Talk. It's about how changing our posture changes our thoughts, which leads to a better outcome. People who experience imposter syndrome are often the ones who have evidence of their accomplishments and backups. The simple change in posture helps these people make a real impact in life.

Imposters, on the other hand, pretend to be someone they are not. They spread false information for personal gains because it helps build their status or perceived power. They jump into the defense whenever they get caught, constantly feel insecure about themselves, and intend to put others down whenever possible.

Fear is involved in both, but the former is about shifting to the empowering state to be one's true self, while the latter is about other people discovering their selfishness and wrongdoing.
