emotional responsibility

Blaming gives up the ownership of our emotions. It says that other people are responsible for our emotional well-being and that it is their fault when we are overwhelmed and disconnected.

When we see that some people have better emotional regulation skills, we learn the truth: challenging events impact everyone, but people who own their emotions get to see what's not working and focus on making a change, while others are busy blaming.

Taking responsibility is the decision we've made to live our lives. Why are emotions the exception?
