effective messaging

There are distinctive differences between effective messaging and the ones that are not.

In creative writing, we often hear the advice: show, don’t tell. It encourages people to write about life experiences instead of feeding information. Experience resonates. Information, even though is important, doesn’t always reach people. By resonating with the audiences, messaging offers grounding where connection happens.

Effective messaging feels like grounding. It’s real. It’s understood by people it serves. It’s clear, no further explanation needed. It answers a deeper question that people don’t know that they have but are happy to see it. It creates a change.

Effective messaging is the enough internalization of the brand and the owner’s point of view.

When struggling with messaging, it's possible that we haven't figured out what we stand for and the change we seek to make.
