People who aren’t clear about their values have values.
Values don’t live in the statements but in our unspoken decisions and actions.
When our spoken values conflict with the values in our decisions and actions, it creates conflicts in our interactions with people around us because we say one thing but do the other.
But this is not the end of the world; it is only the contradiction between what’s conscious and what isn’t.
Keep talking about your values, even when your actions aren’t yet there. Learning to see what drives our choices and actions is how we improve and change over time.
