There are 2 decisions to make when businesses and organizations are ready to be seen as a leading brand. But one happens way before the other.

The first one is the decision to lead. Make a change that’s driven by vision, inspiration and beliefs, regardless what everyone else is doing. Stand out in the marketplace, and stand for something. Blaze a trail. And it must be done.

Then it’s the decision to brand. Make it known to the public. Communicate the idea inside out.

When struggling with messaging and communications with the audiences, we need to go back to these two decisions and assess where we are. Until we understand ourselves, it’s challenging to tell the world about us.

Start with us. Not the audience.
