We have a monthly celebration in the community where I belong. Celebrating our progress and each other brings joy and gratitude into our shared space and personal lives. It’s special.
What’s even more special is having two celebrations on the same day. It was a solstice yesterday - the shortest day of the year where I live. Celebrating us and the solstice brings people together. And that’s magical.
Every event is an experience. Investing time and effort to make it better helps people experience the community. As time goes by, people might not remember what they did at the event, but they will always remember what it made them feel.
