In a learning community, participants feedback often receive two kinds of responses.
One says, "We heard your feedback and agreed with what you said, but there is nothing we could do about it."
The other says, "We heard your feedback and agreed with what you said. Even though it's difficult, we want to find a way to improve it."
Culture influences how we think and behave, but culture is also a choice. Because we can choose to connect and act in a better way, we can influence culture, too.
When we choose a learning culture instead of one that needs people to fit in, we raise the bar and serve better.
